We are specializing in Newborn Photography, Maternity Photography, and Baby Photography. In recent years, we have seen an increase in interest for our 100 days photography session which is now one of our most popular newborn baby photography packages.
As we get questions about 100 days sessions, we put a post to show a sample session.
Once you arrive at our cosy bright photography studio for your baby photography session, we first go through all of the outfits. Should you choose to bring an outfit we will look over all the outfits and plan out which outfits to use for the baby’s shoot.
Next we start with taking photos of mom and dad first, because sometimes babies need time to get used to and feel comfortable in a new place and with new people. We want to make sure that everything’s perfect for your baby photography session. While the babies stay with mom and dad, they can explore the new environment and get acquainted with their photographers.
Once we finish the photos with the parents, we will help the baby to sit up supported on the couch. This can be easily done if your baby can hold up her/his head well. The three lambs are our favourite props and we also have a couple of little piggies for your baby to hug. If you have older kid(s), here we capture the precious sibling moments as well. 
The next set is lying on a beanbag. We have various colour fur fabrics. This is the setup where we capture lots of smiles from your baby. For baby girls, we use headbands and bonnets. For baby boys, we use bonnets and hats. 
One of the big milestones in the first year is doing the tummy time, which babies master around 3~4 months. It is important to schedule your baby’s 100 days session when your baby can do the tummy time. We use diaper cover, shorts, or outfits to cover the diaper and use various headbands, bonnets, or hats.
The last setup we do is a basket. Yes, 100 days old babies are still small enough to fit in our large sized baskets. Here you can see how tiny your baby is still.
We don’t do newborn poses or completely naked poses at this stage as they are not suitable. You can expect lots of smiles (most of the babies) and exciting milestones to be captured at your baby’s 100 days session.
The 100 days session is 45 minutes to 1 hour long. We try to move as quick as possible as the stimulation the baby gets during the session is a lot and most babies start to get tired or sleepy in half an hour to 45 minutes. If your baby needs a quick feeding during the session, we will take a break for feeding. If your baby needs to nap, we let your baby nap and can capture your baby sleeping. The sessions don’t always go the same as we work with what works for your baby.
