Leah’s Family Session on Granville Island
Last year, I contributed a family photo session to Share DDB, silent auction organized by DDB – where I also proudly work - to support James Lee Foundation. And DDB former staff Lauren’s boyfriend donated to purchase my contribution and kindly gave it to Lauren’s brother’s family. This fall, I met the lovely family on Granville Island for a family photo session. It was one of the most fun family sessions I had this year and here are a few photos from the session.
Jaime’s Family Photo Session in Stanley Park
This was the third time I met Jaime. First time, I photographed her son when he was about 6 months old. And second time, I photographed her son againwhen he was 1 year old. This time, Jaime wanted a special gift for her mom’s birthday, which brought Jamie’s family and her brothers family together with her mom and dad. They were all well coordinated in white and it was a fun loving 2 hour session. Jaime’s mom looks very young and cheerful and Jaime’s dad is so much in love with Jaime’s mom – she had the lovely look and personality so it would be hard not to love her. We also didn’t forget to get some photos of little ones with their grand parents, which is always the best gift for the grand parents. I loved photographing Jaime’s family.
Alec’s Family Photo Session – Stanley Park
I met Alec and his family on a sunny day in August. His son was having a lot of fun throughout the session and his blue eyes and smile are priceless. We were able to create a lot of fun memorable moments and I was very pleased to capture those for them. When we sat down on the wooden bridge, we came up with the idea of having bare foot and here is the shot. They also had a plane ride on a log, the boy played drums in the bamboo garden, climbed up the tree… Family photo shoots become quite easy when kids are having fun. I am very thankful for Alec’s family for being natural and having fun during the session.

Huong & Kam – Life Style
Huong originally wanted a family session but her son went on camp for the entire summer and that left just her and her husband. Couples often forget to have time just for themselves once they have kids to take care of. What a great opportunity! Huong and Kam expressed lots of love during the session and it was like an engagement session. Love doesn’t end when we marry but it is just a beginning so I hope couples out there express and enjoy their love.
Lauren – Baby Photography in Stanley Park
I photographed Lauren about a year ago. She was then only 8 months old – a little baby. This time, Lauren was a little girl running around. But now and then, she is that same girl who is so lively and bright.
Judy & Her Daughter
I met Judy and her little girl Chrissie in Stanley Park. Chrissie was such a playful girl who laughs a lot and expresses so much love towards her mom. The bond between Judy and Chrissie was so beautiful that it showed in many photos. I loved photographing Judy and Chrissie and it’s always a bonus when kids have fun in the photo session. I think Chrissie had lots of fun.
Simas Family in Stanley Park
I photographed Simas family on Granville Island last fall. It was great to meet them again and the little one is now walking and running – Stanley Park was a perfect location for the summer family photo session. Here are a few photos of this beautiful family.
A Very Special Christmas Gift – Newborn Baby Photography
He was a true Christmas gift from God for Dory and Alfredo. They’ve dreamed of having a photo of their baby under the Christmas tree since they knew he would come out to the world around Christmas. Their dream came true but more than the photo, because their precious gift arrived healthy and safely.
Emily’s Family Portraits at Sunset Beach
Emily wanted family portraits including her fiance, her sister’s boyfriend, and two dogs. Sunset Beach at sunset was a perfect place to photograph Emily’s family except that the dogs had never been on sand, which is why most family photos include them and they truly are the members of the family – very precious to all of them.
