Madeline is another <My Baby’s First Year> package baby. I photographed her beautiful mom’s maternity and here she is, beautiful and gorgeous like her mama.

Madeline arrived a few days late and with genes from her tall parents, she was born over 10 pounds. She was a lot more alert and really didn’t go for curled in newborn poses. This is the session I felt, for the first time, I could’ve done it differently and better. As I never photographed over 10 pounds newborn baby before, I didn’t expect the fuzziness Madeline expressed when she was touched and moved in to some positions. She really wanted to sleep and me moving her arms and legs disturbed her sleep and made her cry.

Eventually, I had to go for simply lying down positions and captured some beautiful images of her. And here they are. (The last image is before/after image using the chalkboard that we used for the maternity session)
